If you're beginning to feel the electronica boom has left you behind, listen up,
then loosen up
New dance-night happenings are busting out all over town, offering
something of interest for all ages of curious clubgoers.

You can get on the good foot for a good cause at Beat Party 6, the latest DJ jam/benefit for Alan Freed and the "Beat Radio" Defense Fund. Beat Radio is the sorely missed low-power dance music station forced off the air by those stiff-legged sticklers at the FCC. DJs Dean Vaccaro, Jezus Juice, Mr. E-Tones, Monte Hilleman and others will cohost. Beat Radio, a cause celeb here, is getting attention nationwide, including prominent mention in a recent cover story on rebel broadcasting in Chicago's NewCity. (See www.beatworld.com) No dress code, 21 and older. 8 p.m. Monday, South Beach, 325 1st Av. N., Mpls. $3. 391-BEAT.
